Performance Pistol 1

Performance Pistol 1

This class is designed for shooters who already possess solid pistol fundamentals and are ready to elevate their performance to the next level. Students will learn how to build a solid physical connection to the firearm through proper grip principles, stance and structure behind the gun, and recoil management, allowing the gun to track predictably and enabling faster and more efficient engagement sequences. Equally important, the course emphasizes establishing a disciplined visual connection to the target, teaching students how to manage their vision and confirm acceptable sight information at an awareness level versus a focus level. This class serves as an excellent entry point for those interested in competition shooting or anyone who wants to enhance their pistol skills beyond basic marksmanship.

Note - This is not a beginner or remedial handgun course. Students must already be competent in safe gun handling, fundamental pistol manipulation, and basic marksmanship, including proficiency in drawing and working from the holster. Completion of our Defensive Pistol 2 course or an equivalent Level 1 pistol course from a reputable training organization is required prior to enrollment.
