TN Enhanced Carry Permit

TN Enhanced Carry Permit Information

Choosing to carry a firearm for personal protection comes with significant responsibility. It requires sound judgment, proper training, and a thorough understanding of the law. The Outpost Armory TN Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit class provides a clear understanding of Tennessee laws related to the use of force, including when defensive force and deadly force may be legally justified. In addition to legal instruction, this course briefly covers fundamental firearm safety, safe storage practices, and the steps required to apply for and obtain your Tennessee Enhanced Carry Permit.

NOTE:

**This is not a “learn to shoot” class. This course focuses on the laws surrounding carrying a pistol and the legal use of deadly force in Tennessee. If you have little or no prior experience with a handgun, we strongly recommend taking our “First Shots” class first.**
