Director of Training

Bill Toy

Bill is the Rangemaster and Director of Training for The Outpost Armory. Prior to joining TOA he was a member of Mt. Juliet Police Department for 10 years with assignments in Patrol (Patrolman, FTO and Corporal), Narcotics and Special Response Team (Assaulter, Team Leader and Sniper). He remains a certified officer as a Reserve Deputy with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office. Before entering Law Enforcement, he served 6 years in Iraq and Afghanistan supporting OIF and OEF as a Diplomatic Security Specialist where he provided Close Protection to US State Dept. Dignitaries including the US Ambassador to Iraq and Deputy Ambassador to Afghanistan as well as numerous members of Congress and the Executive branch. Bill held positions such as Detail Member, Tactical Commander and Shift Leader of both Close Protection teams and Tactical teams. Bill has a wealth of training experience having previously been a Senior Instructor for LMS Defense where he instructed Military, Law Enforcement and Civilians in the legal use of firearms and tactics and is an Adjunct Instructor at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. Bill is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army. He has completed courses with Frank Proctor, John McPhee (SOB Tactical), Northern Red, Centrifuge, Pat Rogers (EAG Tactical), John Chapman (LMS Defense & Forge Tactical), Sig Academy, Tom Givens (Rangemaster), Blackwater, Triple Canopy, ALERRT, USCCA, as well as multiple SWAT and Patrol Tactics courses.

Assistant Training Director

Morgan Marable

Morgan is currently the Assistant Training Director at Outpost Armory in Murfreesboro, TN. Morgan started his interest with firearms and tactics at age 18 when he joined the Navy. After graduating BUD/s, he was assigned to Seal Team 4 in Virginia Beach, VA. He deployed to central Africa where he completed multiple successful operations. During his time in ST4, Morgan attended personal development courses to hone his experience in firearms and tactics, including various advanced driver’s courses, PSD training, UAV operator course, Navy Special Warfare communications, and more. Upon leaving the military, Morgan became a security manager and event lead, working with local law enforcement for the physical security of major crowds and events in the greater Charleston area. Additionally, Morgan worked as an independent contractor. During this time, he travelled for various security contracts. Additionally, he helped to facilitate and provide realistic medical and tactical training scenarios for various military units. Morgan continuously seeks to advance his professional development, instructor qualifications and capabilities.
