LOW LIGHT PISTOL 1

Low Light Pistol 1

Most violent encounters occur during hours of diminished light. Before employing lethal force, it is critical to positively identify whether an unknown individual is a threat or not. One of the most overlooked skills is the ability to properly and effectively use a light while handling a handgun. In this 3-hour Low Light Pistol 1 course, students will learn the science of vision, what constitutes low light conditions, and the legal considerations surrounding target identification. We also cover how to select both handheld and weapon-mounted lights. On the range, students will be introduced to handheld light techniques and proper use of a weapon-mounted light. This course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to operate safely and effectively in low light conditions.
